CHRISTMAS IS COMING AT SMALLBROOK!

This year at Smallbrook, our amazing Art teacher Ashleigh has carefully planned and ran a whole school advent calendar for all students to take part in! Behind each of the doors, students will find either a challenge or a treat that get to do or have. The treats can range from 10 minutes extra lunch break, break time dodge ball challenge, games instead of reading in tutor time or the chance to indulge in a creamy hot chocolate, from the hot chocolate station!

Challenges can range from having to complete a ‘find the Grinch’ hunt, maths brain busters, Geography challenges (Christmas related) or a Christmas bauble making challenge!

The 2nd of December left a challenge, the Grinch made a surprise visit to the school, determined to spread mischief. His latest scheme? Stealing the students’ breaktime! However, he offered them one chance to win it back, defeat the staff in an epic dodgeball showdown. Despite the staff’s best efforts (and a few questionable dodge tactics), the student’s teamwork and energy were unmatched. One by one, the teachers fell, leaving the students victorious!

All students have thoroughly enjoyed all activities and challenges planned so far!
