Visit from the Shropshire Fire Service

On Thursday 15^th February the Shropshire Fire service held a fire safety workshop for a group of our key stage 2-3 students. The educational workshop covered the importance of fire safety in the home. The students were taught how to detect a fire, the importance of fire alarms and what to do when a fire has started.

All students enjoyed taking part in the different activities planned, especially role playing a firefighter’s parade check. Crew manager, firefighter Barry Plant was very impressed with the level of maturity shown from all students involved.
